This nearly 150-year-old gassho-zukuri house has been carefully restored as a refined private villa, preserving its traditional character while providing modern comfort.

Beneath the impressive wooden beams and pillars, a spacious sofa area surrounds the traditional irori hearth.
By day, relax while looking out over the garden; by night, enjoy the calm atmosphere created by soft lighting and quiet surroundings.

Beyond the living area is a bar counter designed for relaxed conversation.
Upstairs in the attic, you can experience the remarkable timber framework of the gassho-zukuri roof up close—a structure that has stood for nearly 150 years.

There are two bathrooms, including a traditional hinoki cypress bath overlooking the stone wall.

With three bedrooms, the villa accommodates up to nine guests.
In addition to comfortable beds, guests can also experience sleeping on traditional Japanese futon bedding.

Together with a Japanese garden that reveals a different atmosphere by day and by night, enjoy the unique character of historic gassho-zukuri architecture combined with the comfort of a modern private villa.
